The story of my oil pastel show
Please come to see my oil pastels, started during lockdown when I ran out of canvasses, all done from life in front of the scene. The first one was done from my home when I was supposed to leave flat for first time to go to someone’s garden on mid-summer’s day and mislaid my handbag. I went outside and did two oil pastels, feeling spectacular afterwards.

Like many people, I have nowhere to paint at home without making a mess and so carrying a bag containing an A4 pad and oil pastels gives me the opportunity to draw from life. Well, oil pastel from life.

The show will be at Kernowine, 21 Killigrew Street Falmouth, from Wednesday 1st November until either they’ve all sold or the end of November. (Trip Advisor Link for the image credit).
Come along from 6pm on Wednesday 1st November 2023 for a drink and tapas (I’ll provide some) at Kernowine, found near bus stop and car park, with free parking after 6pm on street. 15 mins walk to Penmere or Falmouth Town train station, at:
